In today’s world, cell phones have become an integral part of our lives. From communicating with others to browsing social media, we spend a significant amount of time on our phones. However, the overuse of cell phones has been linked to a variety of health problems, including neck pain. The Facts
According to a study conducted by the University of Nevada, Reno, people who use their cell phones for extended periods are more likely to experience neck pain. The study found that participants who used their phones for more than four hours a day had a higher risk of developing neck pain than those who used their phones for less than two hours a day.
Another study conducted by the Department of Physical Therapy at the Sahmyook University in Seoul, Korea, found that the use of cell phones can cause forward head posture, which can lead to neck pain. The study found that as the angle of the head increased, the pressure on the neck also increased, leading to neck pain.
What To Do?
So, what can be done to alleviate neck pain related to cell phone usage? Here are three ways to help correct and alleviate neck pain related to cellphone usage:

Taking a break every 20-30 minutes can help prevent neck strain and discomfort. During the break, stretch your neck muscles by gently rotating your head from side to side.
