Corona Virus- What You Need to Know

With the mass influx of information floating around regarding all the statistics and precautions for COVID-19, it’s hard to understand what’s accurate and what’s not. Here are some helpful tips we’ve accumulated along the way which we want to pass on to you!

1)      Avoid Large Crowds: As of now, it is recommended to not be in close contact in closed rooms with more then 15 people. Many other industries including sports and entertainment have completely shut down in order to keep everyone safe.

2)      Masks May Not Be Helpful: Please leave masks for healthcare personnel, even though COVID can be transferred in a respiratory way, please use your own handkerchiefs and scarfs.

3)      Don’t Touch Your Face, Nose, or Eyes: The virus/bacteria lives on the surface of many things. When these come in contact with your hands and then in contact with your face, that can be an easy way to infect yourself, so hands off!

4)      Wash: Wash your hands with soap and water regularly and for a long amount of time! Trying singing the “Alphabet Song” to help pace yourself.

5)      Don’t Take It Home: Leave your shoes outside or by the front door to avoid tracking extra dirt in the house. Place used clothes in laundry and try wearing fresh clothes once inside.

6)      Immunity: Eat clean and take supplements to keep your immune system up, and maintain your good health!

7)      Last But Not Least: Stay calm! This is a stressful time but be sure to think as positive as possible
