How to get the most out of your physical therapy experience!

Use Physical Therapy as a learning experience

Having therapy is an excellent time to learn more about your body and how it functions. Try to view your time as an opportunity rather than an obligation. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and ask questions!

Speak Up!

Be sure to be honest with your therapist, and never afraid to speak up! Regardless of if you think the question isn’t important or not. Set yourself little goals along the way and be sure to tell your therapist if you think you will be able to handle your home exercise program.

Engage Yourself:

Try to be as present as possible during your therapy sessions. We know how frustrating an injury can be, and how the road to recovery is often a lengthy process. Try to turn the negatives in positives and use that to promote your wellbeing!

Patience is Key!

We know you want to get right back at it but take your time! Please tell your therapist if any new issues arise and you feel sore in any areas. We want you to get back to doing what you love as quickly as possible and don’t want anything to have to set you back!
